Joshua A.G. DeSilva, President Josh was raised on
Maui and has the relationships and key insider knowledge to open the right doors and rollout the red carpet. Josh has worked in the DMC industry for 20 years and in the hospitality business for over 25 years. As a former President of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (Maui Chapter), he knows the business and understands the importance of listening to his customers. “We are intentionally a small company so that we can truly focus on each individual client, turning their dreams into reality.”
Whitney Niemi, Director of Operations Whitney
handles all aspects of operations including: transportation, activities, events, dine-arounds, amenities, entertainment, service orders, site inspections, vendor relations and staffing. She works directly with meeting planners to coordinate all their destination management needs. Whitney is one of the best in the business here in the islands. Her background prior to DMC work includes hotel convention service and sales as well as work in the entertainment/film industry in Los Angeles. She was raised on Maui and takes great pride in her work.
January Asbury, Operations Manager January is a
native of North Carolina, yet has called Maui her home since 2005. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in finance, she left for a six year period to establish and operate a hospitality and adventure sport company in the Swiss Alps. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, Latin America and the South Pacific. January is passionate in her role at DMC where she handles multiple aspects of vendor negotiations, purchasing, accounting, research costing, and onsite preparations.
Tom Hall, Production Manager Tom has over 35
years of experience in the Hawaii music industry and is the owner of Melody Line Productions recording studio. He works exclusively for DMC and his in-depth knowledge of the incredible pool of talent on Maui and throughout Hawaii is truly impressive. In addition, Tom is an accomplished musician himself. Whether your production needs are complex or quite simple we can coordinate the resources to the get the job done professionally.
Robyn DeSilva, Office Manager Robyn, originally from South Africa,
provides excellent organizational and interpersonal skills managing many of the day to day office details. After departing the University of Cape Town medical school in 1998 she came to Maui and never left. She embodies the spirit of aloha and is a joy to work with.
